rest area parking

we've all seen it, drivers park behind the spots when there's nothing open.
say I roll up at 7am, there's tons of spots open but they're all blocked by these drivers who have parked in the middle.
if I knock up on someone and ask them to pull up in an open spot so that I can park, am I gonna have to get loud with this guy or does he understand and give me no shit?

Pull up next to their sleeper and lay on the horn. I hate inconsiderate asses who block 5 or 7 empty spots. The least a considerate person would do is set an alarm to wake up and get their rig into a free spot before all the others are empty.

So instead of being understanding that parking is tight and knocking on a door you become the inconsiderate ass and hit your highway horn in a rest area at 7am.....

When they are parked blocking a bunch of empty spots, then yeah. I've had people block me in by parking in front too. It's really frustrating that some inconsiderate people never have to face consequences for causing others to be unable to park or leave at all. At that point I'm the inconsiderate ass, laying on the horn with a huge smile on my face!

Had it happen once or twice coming in at like 3 or 4 am. Just went around the row and kicked the truck in reverse high.

Don’t ever get loud. If a driver won’t move and starts shit then call the cops and tell them a driver is preventing drivers from leaving and blocking them in and threatened you if they did . Call 911, you can’t fight anymore and people carry guns. And everything is on camera so it’s gotta be handled like that. They’ll be there in a few minutes. They don’t play w that stuff.

Hasn’t happened to me. However I’ve also haven’t gotten to a rest area and a truck was blocking too many spots. (A year and a few months of driving)
