Someone I am close to entered rehab recently, and was promptly sold drugs (while obviously in the window of being at VERY high risk of relapse) by someone IN the same rehab. My person (the one the drugs were sold to) told me before this happened that there were drugs in the place and he was terrified by it and didn’t want to use but was afraid the urge would be too hard to control. He did not want to “snitch” to staff (I wanted him to, but his personal sense of honor prevented him from snitching I guess), and he said this person was in there because he was court ordered to be there. My person is now using and in pretty grave danger of ODing. I know it was ultimately the user’s choice to use — nonetheless I want this person (and possibly the rehab) to suffer. I don’t want it to come back on my friend or put him in danger.
