Im 6'2 200 guy in CO. Used to have a Ride1up LMTD and loved it. Fast foreward im looking for an everyday fun bike I can do very mild off road with. I've been leaning towards a Velotric Summit 2 so far. Here's to hoping to get my Denver tax credit too

The Euphree Stellar is my fav hybrid, but it’s slightly overpriced imo.

Here's the deal—coming from a Ride1Up LMTD, you're already used to a really solid torque sensor. If you buy a basic cadence-sensor bike now, you're going to hate the pedal delay. At 6'2" and 200 lbs, you also need a frame that won't feel like a toy underneath you. You're completely on the right track with the Velotric Summit. They market it as a hardtail e-MTB, but honestly? It rides exactly like a beefed-up hybrid on pavement. That front suspension will easily eat up those mild Colorado dirt trails, and the torque sensor feels very similar to your old LMTD.The biggest win for your specific situation: Velotric has a massive local dealer network. You can just walk into a participating Denver bike shop, test ride it, and instantly apply your Denver e-bike tax rebate right at the register (which is usually a nightmare or impossible to do with direct-to-consumer only brands). Here is the list for you to narrow down it further

Summit 2 is an excellent hybrid. If you want a cheaper option, also look at the Ride1Up Vorsa Lite.

Where in CO are you? Highly recommend the shop and fits at ebikesUSA in Denver. Ask questions, test ride, look at options. They were so great to work with.

I’m looking at same ebike. The hybrid seems more suited for me over the big tire bikes.
