It's not always possible. Check and see if there are more than 8 pins in the motor connector. Check if there are 6 magnets in the motor. These would be for speedometer sensors.

If you have 6 magnets in the motor housing you can try removing 3 of them, every other one.

I can see your hall and phase for your motor. You have 2x blue, 2x green 2x yellow, and 1x red, 1x black. If you have a white wire coming from the motor you could try cutting that.

based on the amperage of that controller that's just a 350 watt nominal system, if it can do 20 mph you're lucky, it doesn't have the wattage to fight the wind resistance of anything faster

Can't help.

Indeed. You wouldn't want this to turn into a GSXR.

That's a tiny 15 amp controller, I wouldn't expect much more speed out of it. You need to upgrade the controller, which will likely mean you'll need to upgrade the battery and then the motor and the controller you get will have a new display and throttle but might not work with your lights.

What makes you think it has a removable speed limiter?
Upgrading the controller to a programmable one perhaps would increase the speed, but depending on battery and motor combo, there may be very little advantage in doing so
