How do you guys push/boost other bikes?

What I mean by that is for example, I’ve seen when someone’s bike dies while riding, another person puts their foot somewhere on the bike and uses their bike to make the other move. I guess you could also call it boosting another bike or whatever you wanna call it. If anybody’s done this how do you do it? I’ve tried to do it for some people and I think I just am doing it wrong somehow

If you read op’s post, i think my comment makes more sense. the solution of peddaling seems better than having someone tow you. But i guess thats not a shared common opinion here. I think a tow would be kind of embarassing.

Nobody gets their bike to push it. The shared common opinion here though seems more like anything but pedal-assisted electric bicycles are unacceptable and not "true ebikes". I see countless of these kinds of offhanded comments about electric mopeds and other kinds subcategories of ebikes.

He's talking about ghost riding, I don't think that's what you're talking about. Ghost riding is like a 1 rider 2 bikes situation.

It takes a lot of skill, and TBH I think what you're talking about probably also takes a good bit of skill without a tow rope.
