Mavs will not move to Vegas. DFW is the 4th largest metro in the country and is poised to pass Chicago in 10-20 years to be the 3rd largest metro. Vegas is the 29th largest metro at about 28% of the population if DFW. The NBA also just approved the starting phases of expanding to Seattle and Vegas a few months ago. Those cities will get new teams. If there is anything, it will be some sell the Mavs to buy the expansion team.
