Back in my day....

Long into the night did we practice our multiplication tables and, for some reason, create diagrams of sentences, lest we not be permitted to talk on a phone attached to the wall or watch television shows that were only on at one specific time of day and maybe never again.

Verily, these things we did do. UNTIL WE FOUND MTv

I got one show of my own choice each week (Dukes of Hazard). The rest of the time it was grandma watching Lawrence Welk, or Mom watching The Barbara Mandrell Show.

I write in CAP's because I spend too much time on a keyboard.

CAP’s what?

Capitals..... ooof - Am I having a Gen(something) moment?

The're referring to the apostrophe you used incorrectly, indicating "CAP" is possessive. Cap's = cap is. Caps = more than one cap. This is the end of today's punctuation lesson 😬

Don't know how to reply to grammar police, no insult intended, I'm old and drunk (don't judge, I'm all good) and really don't give a fuck... other than that it's going to be a better weather day tomorrow so I won't get get soaked taking the dog for a walk.
I'll try to remember my junior school lessons with the proper use of an apostrophe., but actually I don't actually care :)

I so adored the parachute arts in elementary school.

Having to go to the blackboard to write/math (left handed, so always sloppy and squeaky with the chalk).
The Sunday night dread while watching Mork and Mindy (the weekend was over, new schoolweek awaited).
The thrill of navigating school through the fall (Halloween, Thanksgiving) and winter (Xmas, New Year's) holidays, only to return after the new year to slog through the remainder of the school year.
