What should I expect to pay to replace a serpentine belt on my Mazda3 2014?

Title. I tried to replace it myself but the engine bay is a lot tighter than I am used to with my 94 f-150. After a few hours of trying to fiddle around and losing 2 sockets I give up. Dealership quoted me 500$ but I feel like thats for sure a stealership scam. Anyone can help?

I feel like 500 is kinda cheap for a dealership.

Dealership prices are always insane. How do people not know that by now. Literally every person in my life says it.
Judging by what you're saying, it's probably really annoying and we would charge you $200-$300. I did not look at data though

How much is your time worth? Standard belt is usually 0.5hr labor so $100 or so and then price of the belt, usually $50-100 depending on OEM or not. So $200 for standard belt. HOWEVER that one sounds like a particular pain in the ass. If you have to take your time and wiggle it out vertically we would charge an hour ($200) + belt, so $300ish would be a good guess. But you may have 2 belts just fyi

I'd still take 300 over 500, thanks for the reply!
