Recently picked up an Ender V2 printer will that work perfectly fine for my DD17 files, also is a quality grade PLA fine or is a PLA+ required

As long as the Ender is tuned and calibrated it will be perfectly fine, its what lots of these files were designed around from the very beginning. Do not use plain PLA as its not strong enough, PLA+ or better only.
