Finalizing my New Desktop Rig 144 GB VRAM + 128GB RAM - 3rd GPU possible in this setup?

Unfortunately now I can't go with Server setups(like Epyc or Threadripper) due to current price of ECC RAM & Processor, Motherboard as well. Server setup instantly increases the budget. We don't want to go with any used ones. So below is my planned current setup.
I know that Consumer Desktop setups are not suitable for more GPUs like 4 & above. What I'm expecting is to use 3 GPUs in this setup. Can I expect decent performance with 3 GPUs & without any stability issues? I have an SSD to be added.
- Processor : AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D2 Dual Edition
- Motherboard : ASUS ProArt X870E-Creator WIFI
- GPU : AMD Radeon PRO W7800 48GB - 3 Qty - Total 144GB VRAM
- RAM : 128GB(2 x 64GB 5600 MT/s)
- SSD : 4TB
- HDD : 20TB
- PSU : 2000-2400W(To be updated after finalizing the rig)
This is what I got from online for that motherboard.
The ASUS ProArt X870E-Creator WiFi has a total of 24 PCIe lanes available from the CPU, with the first PCIe x16 slot dropping to x8 when the second x16 slot is in use, and the second slot can drop to x4 if the M.2_2 slot is enabled. This configuration allows for flexible expansion but may limit bandwidth depending on how the slots are populated.
So 3 GPUs + 1 SSD is possible in this setup without any stability issues? I'm fine with some performance penalty on 3rd GPU. I don't want any stability issues.
Someone mentioned that combinations x8 x4 x4 or x4 x4 x4 are fine. x1 is performance killer.
So please check this setup & let me know the possibility. Thanks

Should be stable, just so you know this is way beyond the scope of this subreddit lol

stable is fine. Thanks

You should be aware that the orientation on the third slot only provides it with single-slot positioning, so you'll need to find a chassis that allows for additional space beyond the bottom of the motherboard, else the card will not fit.
Beyond that, assuming that you're only using one SSD, then you'll be running on 8/8/4 config with the three cards.

That config is fine. And yeah, getting chassis suitable for this setup. Thanks

Out of curiosity, what are you using this thing for?
