I am in love with it. It's accurate, soft shooting, and has one of the smoothest actions I've felt on a semi auto. Literally my only complaint is that I got mine in "good" condition and the finish is very rough. From what I hear, the "very good" stock is excellent.

Mine came literally unfired, brand new in the factory box. If it was fired, somebody took the time to get the bore white and shiny after.

I would get one to keep for the safe, and use the one you have now as a shooter.

Oh man you got the kinda plum finish! Mine is still super blue, Excellent condition and the only scratches on it are from where the box rubbed on the top of the slide during shipping.

The GC on the forward end is the issue marking, Guardia Civil, because it was Spanish civil guard issued. Some were ground off, I'm glad mine wasn't.

I have the "marks" you're talking about in the cut on the top of the slide but that's actually just plastic that got shaved off and caught in the grooves, I can wipe it off with my thumb pad with a bit of pressure.

Absolutely not! In fact, buy 3 — one for each hand and the 3rd as a BUG (backup gun) in case one jams or runs out of ammo.

Worked at Century, specifically on the grading/surplus side. A "V code" gun from them (in this case SKU : HG1640-V) is miles better than a "G" for good, and typically what most users would call mint.

What would those "excellent" conditions ones be like compared to the "very good" ones?

I got one of the excellent condition ones, it had the original matching case, cleaning kit, tool kit, 2 matching magazines and outside of a little bit of holster wear on the tip of the slide it looks unfired. The magazines even had little to no wear at the time. Almost looked like it was straight from the factory.

I just took a look at the source code for the De Leon home page and it has a lot of calls to the Coreware domain and one to https://deleonrxgunsandammo.coreware.com, so I'd say this is legit.

Coreware's website says:

I’m showing tax/free shipping at Centerfire and no tax/shipping on this one. Hence the $30 difference.

This one does show as very good quality over just good at Centerfire. Might have to go with this one if those quality designators are impactful.
