Are they suggesting Paxton bribed Trump for the endorsement? I know Paxton has his own legal problems but not sure I follow how it ties to the endorsement.

Reminder that Paxton's wife divorced him "for biblical reasons."

A husband committing adultery with a woman is not grounds for divorce in the bible. A husband sleeping with other dudes would be a "biblical reason" for divorce.
