I moved when I was in my mid 20 and lived overseas for almost 20 years. I visit my home country once a year… due to medical reason, I was able to stay in my home country for over 6 months.
What I realized I don’t belong here either. It’s like I can’t fit in anywhere.

Yes.. we moved when I was 15… I still miss home i do have friends but I still feel lonely somehow.

I've lived abroad a few times, and I came to France last year prepared with some strategies that I've learned.

You need to find a social circle. I got lucky and found an amazingly great social circle within the first month of moving abroad and life has been great. It’s made moving somewhere new a ton easier. There’s so many ways to meet new people like meetup.com or other platforms, so work has to be put in but it’s not impossible
