Every time I go through Arkansas, there’s some crazy backup or accident. I feel like the route through big cabin is just more chill. Please give me your opinions.

Arkansas rip is easy. And avoids dfw. Do that

Avoiding 35 as you head into Austin will make up for any bullshit you deal with in Arkansas

This route doesn’t go through Austin. It goes along 45 through Dallas, which if you’re cool with planning to pass through at 3-4am, can be chill.

What are you talking about? The route literally ends in Austin. You can't get from Dallas to Austin without 35

Austin is west of Dallas. This terminates east of Dallas. Also 35 splits in two and converges west of Dallas. The route follows a highway that moves east, presumably 45. Additionally, this looks like it’s right along the 10, which connects Houston to San Antonio, not Austin. Although you can see the name for Austin on the map, that’s not the destination.

That dark blue line from Dallas to just outside Austin is 35E to 35. You know how I know this? I drove it multiple times a week for a decade.

You’re just wrong man check a map that’s 45, I drove it all the time with Crete. They’re not taking 35 through OKC they’re going direct to Tulsa. They’ll be going through Atoka, Eufala, and Pryor. I delivered to all of these when I trained on DG. This route never touches 35 man. 75 turns into 45 which goes to Houston, by where the drop is. You’re not bothering to fact check you’re looking at the lines on the map and insisting you’re right.

My best guess is actually that OP is going to the Walmart DC in Sealy, TX. Although I don’t know for sure

OK has absolutely no rest stops and I haven’t seen great parking there. So that’s the only downside to that.

I would take us67 (future i57) across Missouri and arkansas personally. Its a chill drive and there's a badass truck stop at the mo/ar border. Once you get to little rock you take i30 to texarkana then us59 all the way to houston. I've done that run probably 200+ times each way when I was driving for busch between the stl and houston breweries. If you're deadset on avoiding arkansas taking us69 thru oklahoma is also fine just a lot more miles.

This guy gets it.

Your just in a bad spot to start honestly. I would just take the blue route it’s decent… as long as your not going through Dallas at 2-7pm

I see you’re going to Walmart. That 35 route will take you in from the north , you’ll be cutting off in Waco and taking back highways in. It’s a good route, and if you’re allowed tolls, jump on the 35 toll through Ft Worth ASAP. You won’t be seeing Austin whatsoever.

I see your are close by i10 , go east and get 130N and it will take you back to 35n and you will avoid construction on San Antonio and the Austin traffic and get ready for the construction in Waco after that you should be good, we are expecting bad weather these after in north Tx.

You do not want to go the way into Oklahoma 69 and pass through Dallas and Austin. Get down when you’re in west Memphis check out traffic and weather, make a decision then. Be advised there is going to be traffic and roadwork everywhere since it’s spring time, from Baton Rouge to Houston there is lots of it. My take is to always take the shortest route and I can make it longer later based on conditions. At least you have an option. If you take a longer route and it’s backed up you can lose lots of time
