Just send them a nuke. While it is a bad idea in many eyes, if they send them a nuke, we eliminate the cycle of claiming they are getting close every few years. Basically they say yes we have nuclear capability, now you know, so stay the hell out. If NK really sees them as an ally they can stop the constant bullying based on possibility and create security for Iran based on certainty.

Honestly, closing the straight of Hormuz is way more threatening than any nuclear weapon.
If they want to cause as much pain to as many people as possible, they should keep doing what they’re doing.

No, the straight causes people to want to invade. The oil as well. But they always claim it’s because Iran is close to nuclear capability. We all know Kim has nukes, and nobody invades them. If they donated one to Iran then we no longer have the ability to claim they are close, they would instantly get the same amount of respect as Kim, as a legitimate threat instead of a small nation open to bullying.

I don’t think 1 nuke would be enough. You’d need multiples and ICBM capability which is a separate tech tree

Not saying it’s a great idea, just a crazy one to end the Iran war cycle we seem stuck in. Always based off the nearness of Iran getting nuclear capabilities. So if they were sure to have one as of today, that stops the justification that they are close.

Honestly it’d more than likely get intercepted in transit. The US, among other nations, spends more than NKs GDP just on intelligence networks. They’d know everything down to how often the driver sneezed that morning if they were trying to ship a nuke to Iran.

North Korea has Nukes but they also have a non-nuclear option that is extremely destructive. They have 1000s of pieces of artillery in range of large south Korean cities. Even if you destroy their nuke they can still kill 100s of thousands of civilians very quickly.

A nuke by itself is pretty useless. If its capable to be fitted to any of their existing missiles now every launch is a potential nuclear threat.
Worse as a know enabler of terrorist they could well end up handing that off to one of their proxies. That's an existential threat to Israel and the US that would require a full out land invasion and regime change to cure. While ultimately that's great for the people of Iran its also the most bloody way to get there.

Iran isn’t a rational state. Their leadership are true believers in the radical Islamic cause. They believe deep down that they are bound for Jannah if they martyr themselves for Islam. If North Korea handed Iran a nuke, they would immediately launch it at Tel Aviv.

You want to debate ethics go there. Just saying, the US gave Iran leverage over themselves, and they shut down an international shipping lane. If it were a nuclear armed state, then pretty much all of the US' weight is lost. And Iranian money sponsors US enemies overseas. So it would really be a near worst case scenario, as we've also seen what that side considers acceptable retribution. Keeping in mind, these people have been facing existential crisis for decades now.

It came to me when NK was making threats about what they would do if any of their agents in Iran were harmed, they seem to be allies and Korea has seen how much they get left alone due to their nukes.

What do you think the response would be? So they have one or even only a few. It’s better to invade now and stop them completely then to let them make more until they can’t invade. It would absolutely cause the war you are trying to prevent.
