Depends , which religion are you talking about:
Muslims: Albanians in Macedonia Orthodox: Greece/Serbia Catholics: Croatia maybe?
Others are moderate to not religious at all.
hubbabubbameqershi@reddit
Catholics in Albania are extremely religious
Observe_Report_@reddit
As an Albanian Catholic, I would have to agree with this. I’ve lived in the United States for many decades, but the Albanian Catholic Church here is very strong and the new wave of Albanian Catholic immigrants from Albania have taken it over.
Substratas@reddit
The Albanian catholics in USA are also very religious because 95% of them came from the most impoverished & rural parts of Albania.
Observe_Report_@reddit
I’m sure that plays into it, it would be nice if the artist Prime Minister of Albania invested some money in the north, being that the Albanian Catholic clans have a rich history of resisting the Ottomans for centuries, but unfortunately communism squashed much of that history and the people of Albania don’t even know anything about those people. Instead, they are called Malok.
Substratas@reddit
Romania.

Probably Albania

Turkey and Greece probably.
fireswalkwithme@reddit
Greece or Bosnia I would argue!
GoHardLive@reddit (OP)
Even more than Kosovo ?
hubbabubbameqershi@reddit
Kosovo is religious only on paper. It comes like this among Albanians. Albanians of N Macedonia on top, Albanian Catholics second, 10 empty spots and than Kosovo Albanians a few other empty spots and than Albanians from Albania.
Observe_Report_@reddit
Wow, I would never expect any other group besides Albanian Catholics to be on top.
hubbabubbameqershi@reddit
I'm not saying Albanians from N Macedonia are the most religious in the world, I'm saying they are most religious among Albanians.
Observe_Report_@reddit
I know that, but the women at this wedding did not care about Islam, because they would not have been dressed as revealing as they were if they did.
GoHardLive@reddit (OP)
Every time i see about videos in Kosovo i see women in hijab. For example in this video in 0:30 minute and 1:28 .
EpicBOIM8@reddit
I mean it is sparse In Turkey you would see more hijabs I mean I would bet on you greeks for religiousity you even have a cool autnomous orthodox monk place that women cant enter cause they entice man or something
Kooky_Appeal_6554@reddit
which part of turkey? if you compare eastern thrace the european part of turkey, there is not much women with hijab.
and trakya is the balkan part in turkey.
people there mostly CHP and kemalists.
and descendant of balkan muslims
EpicBOIM8@reddit
Yeah but its the most CHP part come to Istanbul Fatih you ll definitely reconsider your words and If you are only asking about the balkan cultured part thrace part you are right but turkey as a whole you are wrong
Kooky_Appeal_6554@reddit
You can read, right? I'm only writing about Turkish Thrace in this sub; it's an Ask Balkans sub. What's across the bridge doesn't interest me. The provinces of Edirne, Kirklareli, and Tekirdag. Of course, Istanbul is different. I understand that. The population there is quite different from that of the three provinces mentioned earlier.
EpicBOIM8@reddit
I can read okey its says a balkan country not saying a region in the balkans. Now I am asking you can you read it properly?
Kooky_Appeal_6554@reddit
The OP asked which Balkan country was the most religious. Turkey is only partially part of the Balkans; specifically, it is the region known as Turkish Thrace—or the European part of Turkey. The provinces of Edirne, Tekirdağ, and Kırklareli—along with the European section of Istanbul—belong geographically (and to some extent culturally) to the Balkan Peninsula.
Strictly speaking, Greece, too, is only partially part of the Balkans; only East Macedonia and West Thrace are situated within the Balkan region. The remainder of Greece is Aegean and Mediterranean.
hubbabubbameqershi@reddit
I know, that is what some people hmm hmm want you to see. There are some hmm hmm banks here in Albania which are moving money from some particular countries and they serve for religious purposes. Even in my place in Albania which is core orthodox community since Christianity begun, all the tradition is based in orthodoxy, folkloric culture, linguistics and art in general is 100% Orthodox, even mulsims in my area are orthodox, but you see some covered ladies, in culture life, tv and in politics for some reason. This has never happened even in Ottoman times. Stuff is going on in the Balkans I'm telling you, I don't like it.
Turbulent-Lime-2466@reddit
Yes.
AccomplishedQuit6535@reddit
I think the multiethnic and multi religious one where everyone hates each other which is Bosnia and Herzegovina

Greece & Turkey
figflashed@reddit
I would call both peoples simply superstitious and not truly religious.
My opinion, of course.
kendrickispop@reddit
Yes but I’d also argue any crude reception of religion is superstition in the end
Character_Hamster890@reddit
I definetely agree for Turkiye.
736384826@reddit
I don’t know about other countries but in Greece even the rocks believe in god.
kendrickispop@reddit

YahwehIsKing7@reddit
I feel like Romania is more religious than people think
InExtremis-@reddit
Greece/turkey or Serbia/Croatia idk
Character_Hamster890@reddit
Most of our country know very little about islam.
Inside-Reading1915@reddit
Do you mean religious as in follow their religion or religious as in use your religion only when it benefits you and brrak its rules all the time? Anyways for the 2nd one Serbia(my country) and for the 1st one idk maybe greece
Kooky_Appeal_6554@reddit
Definitely not much religious in Turkish Trakiya (blue in the map). The region includes provinces like Edirne, Kırklareli, and Tekirdağ as well as the European part of Istanbul.
The people in the European part of Turkey— (*East Trakya*)—are cultural Muslims. However, compared to the rural regions of Central or Eastern Anatolia, the population there is considered significantly more secular, liberal, and Western-oriented (much like the western coastal regions of Turkey), Except in Istanbul—though, of course, you find religious people there as well.
BoringKick5331@reddit
Greece but the population is getting less religious. The government hasn't caught up. There's still more or less mandatory Orthodox religion class in public schools. Clergy salaries and pensions are paid with public funds.
RustyCaffeine@reddit
Greece, although it gradually decreases throughout years. But, many GenZers, men especially, might not take part a lot at Church, but they have a personally relation with faith.
