i worry the issue, esp with modern guns, is that the game is gonna come down to "memorize the headquarters/main factories of the top 20 or so firearms manufacturers, then win"

Very nice, I would suggest having options to have more tilesets available in the map. Right now the city labels are very small and hard to read. I know this is a Steyr gun, but I can't find Steyr on the map because the labels are not easily readable
