Asexual does not mean aromantic. Some ace romantic partners just cuddle, kiss, and so on, which may not be done to their normal friends (depending on the person, since some folks do cuddle n kiss their friends). Also, being ace doesn't mean being incapable of conducting sexual actions, especially considering ace is an umbrella term that includes a spectrum, so some folks may label themselves as ace if they only rarely, but not never, have sexual attraction. Furthermore, "fully" ace ppl who never bear sexual attraction ever can, in order to please their partner, perform sexual actions while simply not feeling sexual attraction towards their partner (irregardless of romantic attraction, since sexual =/= romantic).

It might sound weird since cishetnormative folks (and folks who are used to cishetnormative-esque relationship dynamics) tend to not be able to imagine doing anything affectionate (sexual or platonic tbh) towards the same sex (the one they're not attracted to), but weird is queer and ace is queer, so naturally y'all's won't get it 🤷
