The Fall Guy: Lots of jumping pickup trucks. Lee Majors for the ladies, Heather Thomas for the gentlemen (and impressionable young men like me).
(The best Heather, btw.)

Fall Guy doesn't get enough love IMO. I absolutely loved this show.

If you have not watched it, the Gosling/Blunt film (yes, I said film) captures the feel, if not the details, of this show perfectly

Buck Rogers. Mel Blanc for the kids, Erin Gray for the dads, and Gil Gerard for vanilla moms, the Hawkman for spicy moms. And a main title for everyone.

Princess Ardala for the boys who are "coming of age"

Wasn’t it great when he finally figured out how to fly ..

I mainly just remember the constant green-screen aerial flailing and crash landings. 😆

Emergency! Hunky paramedics pulling people out of crashes and explosive fires, and Julie London as a nurse.
Magnum PI: Tom Selleck with that stache and Hawaiian shirts, driving around in a Ferrari 308
A-Team: Mr. T & co. blowing up bad guys froma customized GMC van
Miami Vice: 2 sharp-dressed cops and two Ferraris (which were actually Vette-based kit cars for the first part of the run)

I was force to watch both of these because my mom liked Tom and Don. I didn't care for either of these shows.

I remember a random scene where a brunette lady is driving and Magnum is in the passenger seat for whatever reason, and she parallel parks it in one quick, growly maneuver.. and the helicopter

I loved Emergency 🚨 .. the sirens and the loud horn when they bring the big ladder truck out.. the calls to Rampart..

I sometimes got confused by the DoH accents, and was amused that there seemed to be a character named Anus.

He was a dipstick according to his boss ..

Knight Rider. No idea why my parents would have liked it, but I thought it was the coolest show on TV.

Super Pursuit Mode

Vastly preferred KITT to Hasselhof.

Agreed, It fits that same trope perfectly. Just like Hong Kong Phooey, Inspector Gadget, Pink Panther etc…where the supposed hero fumbles around while the side character quietly handles everything.

The trifecta - Heather Locklear, Adrian Zmed, William Shatner
