From what I understand I should be able to run two graphics card and they should both run at their usual speed?
Do the graphics cards have to be the same for this to work?

Yeah that’s not gonna work. Crossfire, what AMD calls running two GPUs to work in tandem, is effectively dead and has been for years.

Honestly probably gonna live for another decade as the cancer has been halted. So he's doing good.
He's 66 this year and plays games and builds computers. Hes got an some AM4 Intel CPU in his current PC. figured might as well get him a new PC with AM5 and DDR5.
