This police car came to a dead halt on the highway, leaving the semi-truck behind it with exactly zero options.

Rear view mirror who?
Actual_Handle_3@reddit
Watch for stop cars in front of you?
notnt_tim@reddit
Truck is heavy. Stop take long time.
heisenberg2JZ@reddit
Well said for the NPC's in the room
heisenberg2JZ@reddit
Physics was an optional class when you were in high school, huh?
Rare_Indication_3811@reddit
Sonce when they can just full stop on the road without even considering other drivers? No lights, nothing. He could have just parked on the sode with lights on and wait till it would be save to go on the road and pick it up. Stupid mf
jokzard@reddit
Copper probably didn't have the appropriate training to stop highway traffic. I've seen my fair share of highway patrols doing it correctly by weaving and slowing down traffic.
GrapeAlchemist@reddit
Looked like he stopped for debris on the road and forgot to put his emergency lights on…
flatdecktrucker92@reddit
Lights don't change the physics. Stopping on a highway is fucking dangerous no matter what
snarksneeze@reddit
I think there's a stalled truck to the right side of the road he was stopping for. Not that it matters without his lights.
Libiido@reddit
The reverse situation almost happened.
leadpoem@reddit
Well now there is a little more debris on the highway.
Longjumping_Data_475@reddit
After a "thorough" investigation, we have ruled out ourselves of any wrong-doing. - the PD, probably.
CA_Orange@reddit
3-4 seconds to react. A butt pucker, but time to do something.
Timetravelingnoodles@reddit
Oh look, traffic on either side of the 80,000 lbs ballistic missile. Yep, lots of options
Stewartsw1@reddit
Could try braking at least?
everythangspeachie@reddit
Cop shouldn’t have done that but the driver reacted waaaaay to late.
Top-Confidence4496@reddit
Well the police car helped him stop technically
homucifer666@reddit
LoL.
Poor driver though.
Lightyear18@reddit
I get the cop stopped without lights but the trucker was speeding, if he couldn’t stop on time, he’s going too fast or not enough distance.
Both are dumb.
Lightyear18@reddit
this two are triggered over driving safely
Sure-Debate-464@reddit
You people are so f** clueless. You don't come to a stop on the f* interstate. You certainly don't come to a stop for a f cooler. I'm sure you guys have precognition to know exactly when some d*** is going to stop in front of you.
What the f*** was he supposed to do slam on the brakes when he doesn't know what's happening in front of them that this moron cop is going to come to a stop on an interstate.
Actual_Handle_3@reddit
The guy had plenty of time to stop too.
Empty-Whereas5117@reddit
Your mom is dumber.. its a highway you don't drive slow you stupid ass..
Sharp_Requirement_50@reddit
Yea, safety at my company BIG on following distance and speed.

This police car came to a dead halt on the highway, leaving the semi-truck behind it with exactly one option: ram the police car

tyschooldropout@reddit
Came to a dead stop for what looks like a block of Styrofoam that did absolutely zero damage to the cars that hit it. Lmao
Love_Scarred@reddit
On impact you see a cooler fly from in front of the cruiser. That must of been why he stopped.
Libiido@reddit
Theirs a whole lot going on in the mf video bro. I'm upset this happened to you. I'm sorry. W ashram so the officer can't lie on you, but this had a lot of potential to be much worse for other ppl as well. Glad you're safe.
You ever figure out why the officer did that?
HowlingWolven@reddit
Doing it without lights? ☠️
Maleficent_Lab8672@reddit
I would be PISSSED!
Revival-Waters@reddit
Police officer has an extreme case of entitlement. Hope the truck driver can sue him and he learns a lesson.
