From the comments this is apparently old: "At first, I thought this was a new interview, however, it seems this interview was recorded approximately 9 years ago, which would have been shortly after MythBusters ended."
Annoyed that they didn't bother to mention this in the title or description. I thought he looked a bit younger here than what I've seen recently. Curious why he only decided to upload it now.
So I had to look up the channel. I noticed the name of it yesterday but didn't investigate, just with a low subscriber count I figured it was someone just stealing someone else's video. So I went back to it with your question and looked at it. It does appear to be the interviewers interviews, his Wiki is actually very impressive. Seems he has just started uploading a series he did but doesn't appear to have shared until now. So new interview is true, just not a current interview.
From his Wiki: "Since 2014 he has been shooting an internet TV docuseries called Conversations for our Daughters[326], consisting of long-form one-on-one discussions with over 300 people from all walks of life, including actors, singers, business leaders, entertainment executives, writers, directors, agents, athletes, poets, pilots, human mermaids, painters, teachers & other educators, sculptors, students, architects, engineers, gymnasts, designers, cinematographers, stunt people, librarians, publishers, linguists, medical doctors, dentists, copywriters, art dealers, aeronautical engineers, attorneys, dancers, Olympians, magicians, race car drivers, museum directors, computer scientists, producers, lighting & set designers, warfighters & military leaders, people from the intelligence community, theme park designers, and many other disciplines. It is scheduled to go live on a free YouTube channel April 4th, 2026. "
According to some of the comments under the video and based on the fact that he said in the interview that he was nearly 60 at the time, this interview isn't new. Just thought I'd mention that here in case anyone was confused.
