This gorgeous peice of aviation history flew over Cape San Blas, Florida today!

One of them flies directly over my place once or twice a year.

That is an awesome sight, or at least it was for me!

Be even better if I could get down to the airport that it lands at for the air show every year. It's the airport I train out of 10 minutes away from me.
Problem is I work night shift and I'm never awake when the show is going on.

I had a ride in 44-86734 Special Delivery a few years back. Thrill of a lifetime. Got to move around while in flight too from nose to rear.

That would be awesome and a little terrifying too 😆

I don't think replicas of the B-25 exist. Even if it's been restored its still a legitimate vintage B-25.

Most of the warbirds you see see at airshows are products of North American Aviation. They’re long gone but they built planes right.
I know Boeing claims the NAA legacy now, but that’s not in any way the old company

There are quite a few airworthy B-25s out and around. Nice photos, I always love seeing one in the sky!

We see and hear B-25J 45-8883 Grumpy when they do flights from the museum here in Hamilton. It’s a lot of that, the PBY, and the Lancaster.

I have never seen one of these in the air, but it was an absolute beautiful sight!

That's either an early one (C or D-model, probably) or a later one that was modified to resemble a B-model so it could look like a Doolittle raider. No B-models are currently airworthy and the only remaining B-model is in multiple pieces in a movie prop storage yard in Southern California.
