Found in my filing cabinet

These have probably been floating around in the back of one of my filing cabinet drawers for 15 years. Looking for some parts to repair my computer and I stumbled across them.
Now I really need to get my computer working again!

I’m embarrassed to say just how many hours I spent playing Sim City 2000.

I spent so much times starting fires then trying to stop them.

First time playing it in 7th grade in the computer lab beg class. Awesome game.

Amazing game.

I absolutely loved this game
Yikes0nBikez@reddit
I still play it with the many available online emulators that are out there.
Morning-Few@reddit
Why? Its an amazing game!
Feisty-Bluebird-5277@reddit
Oh man I would love love love to play that again. I want to max it out, then get all my little terrarium condos and then blast off to space. I loved that game

There are tons of online emulators you can play in a browser any time you like.
Feisty-Bluebird-5277@reddit
Are there ones for iPad do you know, I don’t have a computer atm, that would be awesome!
Yikes0nBikez@reddit
I am not sure. Google would have vastly more information on the topic than me.

Cheers!

I think .inexpensive are sitting on my desk somewhere in a pile of dust. Either that or they're in a filing box in the closet. Haha

Sim City 2000 is still the only Sim game I’ve ever played.

I played the shit out of The Sims and Sims 2, also did a lot of Sim City on SNES, SimEarth in my school computer lab, and at one point I think I had Sim City 4. But this one I spent most time on
jays_all_day@reddit
Simtower was my jam haha
Verbull710@reddit
Played the ever-loving heck out of that
Fairly suckily, tbh
Trixie1143@reddit
They stopped making the franchise after 2000, actually

Favorite version of SimCity, hands-down no contest.

So good
Edexote@reddit
Oh God, that game is so good...

I had the Unlimited version of the game. I can't quite remember, but there was a "rosebud" cheat code that I used to give myself unlimited funds. That made building the cities way more fun, LOL.

I grabbed Ixion off a steam sale. Started playing recently and has been hitting my Sim City itch.
Blackbird136@reddit
I could never get into 3000, even though 2000 was my absolute jam.
IIRC my 3000 software, bought new, didn’t come with instructions and I felt too dumb to figure it out. Lol.
jdsmith575@reddit
I had a Mac and it ran like garbage. That’s my excuse for never getting into it.
rearwindowpup@reddit
I got 3000 on Steam for like a dollar several years back. I mostly play City Skylines now but every now and then load up SC3000.

So cool. I play Sims 4 nearly every day so this would be a fun find.
