Generic “cheddar filled” tots were almost tasteless so I spiced them up.

Blasted things tasted like American cheese. Spray cheese has more flavor than these things did. Kewpie mayo, mustard, ketchup.

I’m still looking for those spices

Maybe the mustard is actually a curry and that red#40 blop is actually a chillie paste. Let explain themselves

I was trying to drown out the flavor of America cheese (they were labeled “cheddar” but that was a deception)

Hey now...there's a time & place for Merican cheese. Those tots ain't it.
theangryjanitorOG@reddit
When it was first uh..... developed, the dairy industry wanted it to be labeled embalmed cheese. Compled to squash competition obviously but genuinely horrified as well.

1) mustard is a spice 2) you pinged the same comment twice
SonSuko@reddit
The amount of copium you must generate to declare yellow mustard a spice is egregious. It’s not even Guldens.
HTD-Vintage@reddit
Looks like some dijon or honey mustard or something on there as well, unless that's just pale, expired Cheez Whiz.

This is r/shittyfoodporn
Yellow mustard sauce is a “shitty” version of the spice mustard
Doesn’t it make sense in a shitty food porn Reddit to use a shitty form of a spice to “spice things up”.
Is getting such a joke really so far beyond the intellectual capacity of a normal redditor or are you just a mentally challenged heathen?
HTD-Vintage@reddit
Mustard seed is a spice.
Mustard is a condiment.

Sorry for the multiple pings, reddit is acting stupid right now 😞

Foods that were meant to be violently shoved into one’s own mouth by the quivering fistful get a pass on flavor in my country. Also, American cheese is neither American, nor is it cheese
the1stmeddlingmage@reddit (OP)
I know that, doesn’t make it taste any better when you’re expecting a completely different flavor 🤬
theangryjanitorOG@reddit
Invent your own cheese flavor if you don't like theirs
the1stmeddlingmage@reddit (OP)
If you bought sweet and sour chicken but it instead tasted like kung pow chicken how happy would you be?

theangryjanitorOG@reddit
Honestly im used to being shafted or disappointed. Low expectations are met expectations
callmebigley@reddit
dude, it's fine but don't call it spicy. you're making us white people look bad.
BoomerSoonerFUT@reddit
They didn’t call it spicy. They said they spiced it up.
You sprinkling cayenne on your junk when you say you’re gonna spice up the bedroom?
the1stmeddlingmage@reddit (OP)
Dude, don’t be pedantic

Ketchup as a cooking ingredient makes me retch uncontrollably, it's wrong.
ConstantSond@reddit
still trying to comprehend this

You have like six pockets on cargo pants
Griffithead@reddit
Ketchup is bland. Yellow mustard is pretty bland. At least you used Kewpie mayo instead of regular I guess!
