Watched this and Duckman religiously.

"DUCKMAN'S GOING TO JA-ALE!" I got sick when his own wife made a mockery out of him trying to avoid getting arrested!
aspect-of-the-badger@reddit
I've only met one other person who remembers this show in real life and I'm married to her. Great show though!
Correct-Degree-6789@reddit
AHA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
epcot_1982@reddit
I loved the whole Saturday night block on USA.
Duckman, Campus Cops, Weird Science, Weekly World News
It was such a unique programming block. Cable peaked in the mid-90s.
Inglorious186@reddit
Duckman and the critic were must see for me
Correct-Degree-6789@reddit
The saddest part is not a lot of episodes of it were made and watching it got boring quick. That dry audio quality drove me CRAZY! Yes, loved the show otherwise.
Lovefist1221@reddit
It stinks!
nocrisistoday@reddit
Yes Mr. Sherman, everything stinks.
urbanlife78@reddit
Duckman was one of my realizations that animation could be so much more than just stuff for kids
Inglorious186@reddit
Realizing that cartoons can be cynical changed my life
TimeCadet@reddit
Up All Night and this block such a big influence on my media taste. There were some other shows like The War Next Door that are lost to time
edit: someone uploaded the whole War Next Door on YouTube: https://youtu.be/7z8tx9pbufI
J_A1exander@reddit
Up All Night introduced me to Killer Klowns From Outer Space. Absolute classic.
Garudius@reddit
YES!!. and now I have that on DVD.
Garudius@reddit
Rhonda Sheer and then Gilbert Godfrey
Correct-Degree-6789@reddit
Sighhhh... I watched this every chance I got...
Kellzy1212@reddit
I liked Weird Science. I loved Parker Lewis Can’t Lose.
PatchworkGirl82@reddit
I loved this show! I always watched this and Duckman on Saturday nights (after SNICK ended), and then switched to PBS for Monty Python after.
I think the USA channel, in general, is pretty underrated compared to other nostalgic channels too.
Kellzy1212@reddit
And Mr Bean!
Murphy_Dropkick410@reddit
Straight up lost my virginity seeing Kelly LeBrock on the TV the first time I watched this
It's the yin to the yang of the Labyrinth effect
Skitzafranik@reddit (OP)
Ok here’s a question: TV Lisa or Movie Lisa ? 😁
ScreenTricky4257@reddit
TV Lisa. Not only do I prefer straight-haired women, but she seemed more in-your-face about being downright magical and that that was a good thing.
In other words, Movie Lisa: "I'm going to give you everything you want as a way to make you into mature young men who don't need a magical girl to make your lives better." TV Lisa: "I'm going to give you everything you want because I'm a magical girl here to make your lives better."
aspbergerinparadise@reddit
TV.
by far
Obi_Wan_Benobi@reddit
TV! She was in Kingpin also.
theloop82@reddit
Tv Lisa all day. Vanessa Angel? Was that her name?
JeffCentaur@reddit
TV Lisa for me, every day of the week.
Murphy_Dropkick410@reddit
No question. Movie Lisa.
YMMV
nemomnemonic@reddit
I'll just say that Vanessa Angel had a huge role in my early teens"awakening" lol
Dahleh-Llama@reddit
She the brod from Kingpin?
Difficult_Mix_3620@reddit
It was a great show! It’s currently streaming on the Roku Channel if you want to catch up.
WinnieTheEeyore@reddit
Man, between this and Kingpin, I had a HUGE thing for Vanessa Angel.
pearshapedkitty@reddit
Absolutely loved this show!!! USA Network was the best back in the day!! I watched this show way before I was aware of the movie. The guy that played Chett was such a great villain. 😀
GalaxyRedRanger@reddit
Interestingly, he apparently doesn’t stay a villain. I believe he even starts dating Lisa in later seasons.
funkympc@reddit
The later seasons are a hard watch. Seasons 1 and 2 are peak though.
VicFantastic@reddit
Spoilers!!!!
Sighlina@reddit
What are you looking at butthead??
TimeCadet@reddit
Some of my favorite episodes are the Chett focused ones, there's this one in like the 3rd? season where the gang all time travels to the 60s, and Lee Turgison is HILARIOUS
Mike9797@reddit
Was she the Hot Chick in Kingpin? I can’t remember her name in the movie but she’s the one who is with them for the last half of the movie.
Geoff-Vader@reddit
Also the 'hot Russian chick' in Spies Like Us
Consistent_Insect255@reddit
Absolutely underrated. This with a Duckman chaser was the best way to spend a Saturday night.
ButterscotchAware402@reddit
I couldn't agree more! I watched this show (and loved it) long before I saw the movie (and I had already seen all the other quintessential 80s teen comedies).
VVrayth@reddit
This was peak '90s TV before Buffy was peak '90s TV.
Drab_Majesty@reddit
I remember seeing that dude who Played Gary in Double Dragon as a henchman, funny shit.
ollie81578@reddit
Beecher was a bitch in this.
Eternally-WIP@reddit
I loved the show, but never saw the movie 🙈
body_by_monsanto@reddit
Oh man, my husband and I just watched the movie recently. It did NOT age well!!
CokBlockinWinger@reddit
The fuck it didn’t.
ProfessorOfLies@reddit
There was definitely a block of programming from the 90's thatr I watched regularly that just does not get any recognition. This, duckman, parker lewis can't loas, time traxx, first wave, earth final conflict..
emmer@reddit
I didn’t know who Oingo Boingo or Danny Elfman was when this first came out, but looking back the theme song is so them
urbanlife78@reddit
Weird Science was such a great show with a solid cast
SweetCosmicPope@reddit
Loved this show. This and Duckman used to come on right before USA...UP!...All Night.
MelkorTheMighty@reddit
This and Parker Lewis can’t lose
BrattyTwilis@reddit
I remember this show. And yeah I knew about this before I knew of the movie
midnight-dour@reddit
Just finished a rewatch of this show. It’s on the Roku Channel!
Serious-Ad-5293@reddit
I loved the show!
