I only need an ebike to easily get back and forth to work which is about 2-3 miles. however to get to the nearest town it is closer to 15ish miles I would like an ebike that can effortlessly get me there, around town, and back on a single charge so lets go with 40ish mile distance minimum but would prefer to be able to go farther just in case of emergency. also money isn't the limiting issue I was saving for a car but due to repeated unforeseen incidents I have been unable to get my license. which leads me into the final thing, where I currently live an ebike can be considered a motorcycle if it goes over 20 mph which then also requires a motorcyclist addendum to a drivers license (this isn't a pressing issue as long as I drive at 20mph or slower Ill be fine). also I live in an apartment like building with other tenants where the elevator breaks about 1-2 months after it is repaired so light enough to take up 4 flights of stairs or heavy enough with a lock system to not be stolen. removable battery is a highly requested but if it is the heavy option removable battery will be required. I do mention the stealing aspect as my regular bike has been stolen twice in the last year luckily I found it on the side of the road both times and now I leave my bike in my place until I need it. I have mentioned this to the nearest police but there is not much they can do. Please and thank you for any and all recommendations on ebikes.
