What Should I Upgrade On This PC I Bought?

Hello, I Recently went to yard sale and bought a PC for 40 dollars and was wondering what could i upgrade on it? Already Have Windows 10 on it.

Just storage, nothing else is really worth it, thats a pretty dated pc, gpu being 6 gens old if im not mistaken.

You have a good "starter" for a low-end STEAM MACHINE interpretation build.

The E3-1270 v3 can be had for < $20 off eBay. The price of a pizza to almost max out the CPU.

The GTX 970's 4GB (3.5GB in actuality) is limiting. RX 5700 XT 8GB's have sold for \~ $120 on eBay.

Highly recommend CachyOS.

Add more storage as others have suggested.

Worth it to build a "STEAM MACHINE?" IMHO, oh yeah, if nothing else, then just for the novelty.

Like the first person says. Upgrade storage a little. Dont bother with anything else cause its not worth it.

$40 is a great price! I suggest adding more storage, like another SSD. You're going to fill up 250gb very fast
