Is this is a Gen X thing or just me? Anytime to this day that I hear this Stevie Wonder song, my brain automatically throws in “Minute Maid” from that old commercial.

Nope, I hear it too, everyone time. Saw Stevie Wonder(I made a big sign, held it up, he didnt even see it) in concert last year and he played it, and I sang it. You can find the commercial on YouTube
