Is an underpowered PSU still good to use?

Sorry for the newbie mistake huhu but is there any chance of a second life for the psu? I have purchased an aerocool 500w but I recently found out that i need at least 650w for my build. I intend to sell the 500w but is it still functional for the second user given that it's going to be installed for the right build?

The problem is that most Aerocool PSUs are low bargain bin garbage. But you haven't told us the exact model so it could be still one of the usable ones.
Most PC builds are fine with a 500W PSU. If your GPU maker tells you, you need a 650W you can always ignore that since it's wrong.
So please tell us all your hardware including the PSU model and we can tell you if this PSU will work or if you need something else.
