My MVR was clean outside of that but I'm absolutely fucking losing my shit because this was my golden ticket out of the deepest pit of my life and I feel like my dreams are already fucking dead. I don't need "well you should've not ran a stop sign" I get that ok. Im so fucking upset right now I don't even know what to do. A couple companies are going through their background checks right now..
I was trying to get into local food service or otr flatbed...

Did you blow a stop sign in your personal vehicle or a CMV?
I got a red light ticket like 3 months after I got my CDL. I was a dumbass and fought it without a lawyer. Cop showed up, judge didn’t care there wasn’t enough time/distance to safely stop.
I almost got fired for it but didn’t. Got a new job a year later with it on my record.

Be calm, nothing will show until you pay or get a conviction. Its not the end of the world, just take a breath and blow the money for a traffic lawyer and hopefully they can just drop it to a non moving violation.
You probably have no record so it should most likely be okay, just get some good sleep and let the lawyer do their work, best of luck.

Hire a lawyer. You are innocent until proven guilty so it won’t go on your record until you pay it or you go to court and they don’t throw it away. They most likely will reduce it or throw it away and you make a ”charitable donation" to the court.
Couple years ago I got a speeding ticket for 13mph over and I thought my life was over. I hired a lawyer and the ticket took almost 2 year to go in front of a judge and they threw it away and I never had anything on my record. Now I stay in the right lane and drive slow.

talk to a traffic lawyer and try to get it reduced to something non serious. if they knock it down, most places wont care as much. everything’s way less forgiving with work now

traffic lawyer definitely worth the money here. most of them can work some magic with these tickets, especially if your record was clean before
don't panic yet though - lots companies will still hire with one minor violation, just might limit your options little bit. the background check companies probably gonna ask about it anyway so be upfront when they do
