Power just went out for us. We’re near the intersection of Park and Independence. Anyone else?

My power and internet (Frontier) came back in a few minutes ago. So glad because I wfh!

Frontier fiber? Do you not have a battery in your fiber terminal?
Obviously you'd also need power for the modem and router, but a cheap UPS can run those for a couple of hours. Couple that with a laptop with a fully charged battery and you can ~~watch netflix~~ WFH all night.

Came back to say that I figured ours was due to the high winds.

Update: Apparently it’s a number of people around the metroplex.

You should look into Base Power. They'll cover you for these short outages.

I’m not a homeowner yet. 😩 However, thank you for this information.
