I need to hit you up with a memory from the show 3-2-1 Contact to see if anyone else remembers or if it was just a fever dream. There were a couple of episodes where one of the characters was stranded in the dessert and I found it extremely traumatizing as a kid— I think I was about 4 or 5. Does anyone remember this?

Holy moly. Yep, that's it!! And it was a 2-parter which i think is what traumatized me because she's still stranded in the desert at the end of the episode and I was worried that she was going to die. Thanks for sharing--I was able to find part 2 so at least I know she's safe lol

Your flair says 1969 and i'm assuming that's when you were born, which is the same year as my sister. She was in 7th or 8th grade when I was watching this and had definitely grown out of the PBS shows.

Eh, I remember becuase I watched alot of PBS back then, thats where the bloodhound gang came from. As for this specific scene I'm not recalling. Like many shows from back then those two themesongs are still recalled frequently.

I loved this show! Funny thing my teacher gave kids extra credit for watching it, so it was TV I could watch for school, so my parents allowed me to watch it "for free". We had a time allowance of like an hour a day on weekdays but that show didnt count towards that hour so it was like getting to watch extra TV on those days!

Totally remember this. He was crawling through the desert kinda like the commercial where the guy would keep crawling instead of drinking what was offered ( can't remember the product, beer probably). I mostly remember thinking they were similar, and not any other details.
