Is it a Hans Christian or a Union? And where did you pick up the chainplates?
Lowcountry25@reddit
HC 33. I had them custom made and installed locally.

Who is everyone using to move their chainplates outboard? DIY?

I followed SV Prism's build process and specs and hired it out to professional riggers here in Charleston. They did a great job for me and the boat never had to leave her slip.

When I first took an interest in sailboats the SV Prism tour was one of the first that I watched. After seeing hundreds of boat tours over the years the HC33T is still my dream boat.

They're great boats, but not easy to find a good one.

We've had a couple go for sale here in BC but not often. I just love that it's a small boat built for off shore, reliable and safe with one of the best interior layouts I've ever seen.

They are very solid and really comfortable.

I haven’t been able to find near Deltaville that we’re willing to take on the work. Sure would appreciate recommendation, here or by DM, if you can

I used MaxMar in Charleston, SC. If the boat was in Charleston, I imagine they'd be willing to do the job. I have always been very pleased with their work, they've done lots of big jobs for me.

Christ that’s a gorgeous boat

Thanks!

Haha, this is awesome. Thanks, man! I was 30 hours from the time I raised anchor in St. Simons until I docked in my slip in Charleston. I was so ready to get home I had the whole boat packed up and put away by the time I got to my slip. Gonna rest up for a week or two and sail up to Beaufort and Cape Lookout. I really appreciate this picture, thanks very much.
