Marlin / Glenfield 25 has the same flat 7 round angled magazine and front sight.

That looks a lot like a Russian made .22 I own but I unfortunately know nothing about it. It’s stamped “Made In USSR” and that is the only marking on it. Been wondering what it’s actually called for 30 years.

it could any of hundreds of different bolt action hunting rifles sold in the last 100 or so years. But my money is on a Remington 700. It’s probably one of the most popular hunting rifles in the US and it does kinda look like the same stock style Remington uses.

it’s some flavor of .22lr, not a 700. Mag and action is a dead giveaway…plus he states it is but details.

My money is a Marlin Model 25
