U.S. eyes attack-drone threat from Cuba

Cuba has acquired more than 300 military drones and recently began discussing plans to use them to attack the U.S. base at Guantanamo Bay, U.S. military vessels and possibly Key West, Fla., 90 miles north of Havana, according to classified intelligence shared with Axios.
They fail to mention if it would be a preemptive attack or an attack of their sovereignty is violated by a snatch and grab or invasion.
The CIA head just visited and this announcement sure seems fishy.
False flag? Poor reporting? Government mouth piece? It's hard to tell what the actual facts are but just a heads up.

That's not the problem. They basically have no power grid, which would make going to war A REAL FUCKING IDIOT MOVE. so while they may(if) they have drones, they lack the air defenses, navy, and basically a barely functioning enough government. Even if they attacked, it would be over in no time, and then they'd be defenseless. While tossing some anti drone measures onto the guantanamo bay facility is a smart move, anything else at all is a waste of our resources.

Cuba isnt going to preemptively strike the US. That doesnt make any sense. If the US tries to overthrow the government, then I can see Cuba launching drones towards US assets. If the Cuban regime is in the midst of being ousted, they will retaliate in any way they can. As far as I can see, they've realistically been defenseless for a long time.
