Would you run this?

Was dropped in a drop lot on Monday and company sent me today not sure if this counts as frame damage or not. The white is the freight on the inside and the paper scraps are coming out. My paperwork was just laying on the ground soaked in water to so that’s a plus 🤧

Must be a company driver that’s gonna get paid regardless.

Nah I’ve just failed two inspections in less than a year because of this company’s equipment and don’t want another 😭

I’d run it to a trailer shop for a patch but only after thoroughly documenting every inch of damage. That’s fresh and was caused in that lot.

Send a message to dispatch on your tablet advising them of “I found it like this” and email them the pics. C.Y.A. Principle bro

I'm not sure those corners actually have any structural importance, they seem really thin and easy to dent. Maybe a mechanic can chime in here, but I think there's stiffer stuff behind it
geneticdeadender@reddit
Slap some duct tape on it and write it up.
It should get fixed but you can send it.
KitteyGirl2836@reddit
Have images of it, report it and keep record of your reporting it to avoid being blamed
TruckerTimmah@reddit
I've run wayyyy worse..... As long as it's structurally sound and there's not loose parts or shit falling off...
Auquaholic@reddit
You've got photos, slap some duct tape over the hole and roll.
t33nyCat@reddit
Tape that bitch up and send it.
Moses690@reddit
Jesus man. That’s typical ass trl
Largofarburn@reddit
Structurally it’s fine.
Wherever you take it might give you a hard time when they see light coming through the wall when it’s unloaded. Or if anything got wet that wasn’t supposed to etc. I’d just slap some tape on it and roll though.
I’d also let someone up the chain know before I pulled it personally to cover my ass. But 99% of the time they’re gonna say to just pull it.
Revolutionary-Key177@reddit
Flex tape oughta do it for sure
Beneficial-Gate-8617@reddit
Literally noting with that. Dosent affect the functionality or safety of the trailer at all

Yup.

If DOT ask:
Not cracked or Broken. Bent ? Yes. Needs to be addressed.
Scotts-@reddit
DOT wise yeah, nothing it wrong here and theres guys running way worse right now.
Freight wise? I need it all in writing that I am not to blame for any wet or damaged cargo.
NorthP503@reddit
That’s perfectly fine man. You got a picture for reference you didn’t do it. DOT ain’t gonna dick you for it.
