Ssd 100% usage spike issue

i have a pny cs900 500gb sata ssd and i use it as my secondary D drive and im experiencing a problem with it, for context this problem happened a total of 3 times. On the first time this happned i was updating a game installed on the drive called genshin impact and while updating when it got to around 50% completion the problem started where the disk usage suddenly spiked to 100% usage, i paused the update and the usage dropped back down to 0% and starting then whenever i interacted (opened and app installed in it, download something in it, etc) with the drive it would always go from 0% all the way up to 100% and would only stop once i pause a download or close the application i opened, i tried every suggestion i found on google to fix it and none worked so in the end to fix it i had to reformat the card which wiped all the application installed in the drive so i had to reinstall them all again. On the second time this happned its the same situation where i had to update the game genshin impact again and in thr middle of the installation the same problem with the drive happned where it would spike to 100% unless all interaction with the drive is stops in which it would drop back down to 0%, this time i fixed this problem by uninstalling only the game genshin impact and the drive was able to go back to normal. The third time this happned which is currently right now is when i downloaded an application called bluestacks, while the installation was running i experienced the same problem from the previous 2 times with my D drive where it spiked to 100% and only goes back down to 0% when any interaction with it stops. As of now i havent fixed it yet because i dont want all my apps installed in the D drive to be removed again but i did uninstall all things related to the application bluestacks and it still didnt fix the problem unlike the 2nd time it happened, to give more detailes to the symptom of the problem across all 3 instances this problem happned every single time the drive behaved the same where while updating or installing certain apps thats big in size or has to unpack a installing app thats small size at the start like blue stacks where it was only 1gb but expanded to 6gb when fully unpacked the drive experiences some kind of glitch where it spkes from normal 0%-5% usage all the way to 100% and it will stay there until the interaction with the drive stops and once this happnes any interaction with the drive starting from there causes the same usage spike issue even if your just opening an app already installed in it or downloading something in it even tho it didnt behave this way before the problem happened. When experiencing this problem across the 3 times it happned it was all the same where the average response time is 1000ms to 20000ms and the read and write speed only goes up to 4 MB/s and when interaction with the drive stops the average response time, read speed, write speed, active time all goes to a flat 0. I would like to know a permanent way to stop this issue from happening again or at least a sure method to fix this issue whenever it happens.

How full is the disk? This is a low end drive without a DRAM cache. Locking up with 100% usage is common on drives like that.

It has 115gb left out of 480gb available

I don't think there's a way to fix it. This is just a thing that cheaper drives do.

I was able to fix it the other 2 times by either uninstalling or reformating the drive but this time i already uninstalled the one that caused the problem and i really dont want to reformat the drive again and lose all my application and have to reinstall them again
