I always watch people bring the target about 6 feet from the firing line and then proceed to produce groups about the size of a beach ball despite shooting slowly
I went to an indoor range today and someone hit the beam on the ceiling. I got hit by some shrapnel. Luckily it wasnt loving too fast and just stung. Insane.
When I got my nra instructor certification I had to sit in on a basic pistol class. The shooting “qualification” was I believe at 7 feet. Yes feet. It amazed me how folks who just sat through almost 8 hours of classroom time couldn’t shoot a 22 pistol hitting anywhere on the target or even a standard piece of paper at that distance. That’s when I vowed to myself that even if I teach one of those stupid ass classes we are modifying it for hands on time.
Maybe he should learn how to shoot at beginner speed with a correct two-hand grip before skipping ahead to one-hand rapid fire. Just a thought. It is funny though.

I hope the RO bounced this guy off the range.

Every time I go to the indoor range, I wonder how so many people hit the walls and ceilings. Then I'm reminded...

Had a setup with a red dot and some irons that were not co-witnessing.
Had my buddy shoot a mag and.... he assumed it co-witnessed.
I saw a strike on the ceiling and stopped him with a "bro, no! You aint even close!"

He hit the floor with the first round, that’s something.

Damaged the floor ceiling and wall then probably just flagged his friends right after that
