I want a very small pistol to pocket carry for ccw

This is the description to it.

Listed here is my pre owned Ruger LCP .380. It comes with a spare magazine and concealed hip holster. Has a Laser sight installed which works perfectly. Very lightly used. I have only fired about one box of ammo thru it just to become familiar with it. Little or no noticable wear. I am parting with this as I am upgrading to a .40 caliber. Will require a hard copy of a current FFL sent with the buyers money order before shipment.

Do i buy?

I had one of these, and let me tell you everything about it sucked. It's just too small to get a good grip on (the pinky mag extensions help but not much). The trigger is double action only with a heavy ass pull and the thing is already so small it's almost impossible to stay on target while pulling that trigger. The sights are also barely visible. It's extremely snappy and uncomfortable to shoot so as a carry gun it's very difficult to get any good practice with it.

In the end I sold it and there is a reason you see a lot of these second hand for cheap. I think I paid less than $200 for mine used and this was several years ago.

Maybe look into the LCP Max which is at least striker fired so the trigger will be significantly better. I have also heard good things about the S&W Bodyguard 2.0.

Just get a G26, 9mm with the mag extension kits it's 12 rounds and fits comfortably in my pocket. I think it's pretty accurate for such a small pistol

Unless it has to be smaller than your wallet the BG2.0 is objectively the best 380 on the market by a long shot. Sold my LCP and LCP Max for one.

I really need something i can just carry in my pocket while wearing shorts i really dont want a firearm thats too cumbersome or else i just wont carry at all. So i figure better carrying a .380 than nothing

$173 for all but your local FFL's transfer fee? That's not bad. Ruger is a reliable brand, and if there are problems you'll be able to get parts. That laser sight isn't terrible, but not a huge selling point. Two mags and a hip holster.

This is a reasonable deal, but not a "Buy it even if you don't want it!" bargain.

Save your money and buy a compact 9mm. It will be an all-around better gun.
