Pilot no longer able to rob Subway Sub Club members!

Just went to Subway at the Pilot in New Braunfels and was told that Subway is now forcing all of their Pilot locations to accept Sub Club points, coupons, promotions, and orders from the Subway app!
And it’s able time! We drivers need all the help we can get. Finally, a win for the good guys!
Note: Pilot Rewards are no longer earned or are redeemable at Subway restaurants; however, the overall rewards value for Sub Club users is far more valuable than Pilot’s in-house program.

Profits. With deals in the app or some physical coupons you can get a footlong for 6.99, and regular price is 10 to 14 depending on location. That's a pretty big difference that I'm sure the franchisee is eating some of it. Not saying they aren't still making money, but if they had/have the option to make more money instead of customer service, they are probably going to take it because that's who they are.

Yeah, I’ve been wondering the exact same thing. Why didn’t they do this before? It was absolutely ludicrous.
I’m convinced Pilot was just being their usual money-hungry selves. They wanted to force everyone to use their own weak, lackluster in-house Pilot Rewards program because letting us take advantage of the Sub Club points, coupons, promotions, and app orders would’ve hurt their bottom line.
They’re already bleeding us truck drivers dry with those ridiculously overpriced convenience items in their stores and that ever-increasing paid parking program in their already way-too-small and cramped parking lots.
Glad Subway finally put their foot down and made them accept the Sub Club deals. Small win for the drivers! 🚛
