What should I do for my DOT physical

I got my physical done at a concentra today and the stupid doctor marked my physical as “determination pending” over a prescription I’ve been taking for years. Should I just go to a different doctor or should I get this controlled substance paper filled out by my primary doctor.

You’re on adderrall? You told him instead of not taking it? No you can’t goto another dr. You have to get the prescribing Dr to hand write an official document stating you on the med posed no danger.

Do those dot doctors check the prescription monitoring database or do they just rely on what you tell them for meds like lunesta or ambien ?

I dont think so the first doctor I went too needed a whole form filled out and a doctors note before he made a decision and the 2nd doctor just asked if I had been in any accidents had any tickets or incidents and when I told him no he cleared me so I guess it’s really their decision but future me won’t ever say anything again

I haven't taken any Ambien in about 15 months. I don't know if they would have access to when i filled the prescription last.

I'm tempted to just keep my mouth shut because I don't take it any longer. Also, I got that script from a shitty urgent care. The doc who wrote it is no longer there

I used to take ambien the last time I got my physical done 2 years ago had no problem. I went to a janky chiropractor for my physical tho but I wouldn’t tell them anything especially if you haven’t been prescribed it in 15 months

Yeah I think that's best. If I tell a doc/np/chiro that I did take it they might want a letter and I would be fucked.

I went to Concentra once I have a lazy eye so my left eye can be a little funny at times I was accused of memorizing the chart they told me to go down to the street to the competitor and then bring the results back to them

I went to another place altogether associated with a major hospital and have done so for the last 13 years

Yeah I definitely messed up by going to concentra. I take Lunesta 2mg for sleep but I’ve never had an issue with my past dot physicals for it funny enough this is the first time going to concentra too I’ll never go back

I mad another appointment with a Dr at the same facility and he gave me one for 2 years.
