What are the best or weirdest rules you've found on Reddit?

I found this Pet Tax rule on a Scottish Football subreddit today and it got me thinking there must be some out of pocket/bizarre rules out there.

Have you found any bizarre ones?

I am vegan and posting on vegan subs can automatically get you banned from certain carnivore/anti-vegan subs before you even know they exist. It does not bother me. It just shows how fragile the people on those subs are regarding their diet.

I thought this kind of shit was banned by the admins now?
japonski_bog@reddit
I'm sure it works both ways

No Ducks

I was unaware of this rule, and posted a pic of a mother duck and ducklings that had found there way into my garden.
The mod note was just "Quack Quack"

I came to post this one

There's a male sub that randomly requires they post the meal they cooked that day. Sub is totally unrelated to food.

Scotland subreddit has a "no salad" rule after someone posted this.

Fair tbh

Posted 16 random digits starting with 42069 as a joke. Get a 3 day site wide ban for leaking personal data.

The main uk Police sub has a set of unpublished rules which they enforce liberally .
A bit disturbing considering their day jobs , but it consists of criteria for banning people who belong (or look like they belong ) to certain groups .

Mate, I’m a serving police officer and even I’m banned from that sub.
I’m not sure it’s actually run by real police cause they have incredibly thin skin, wouldn’t last a second in the real world.

This photo of an electronic sign got me banned from a sub for posting a “screenshot”.
I found that a bit weird.
wardyms@reddit
The subs with a “no screenshot” rule are really weird in my opinion.

"Thanks for your question,
It has been removed.
You used the word orange, oranges are a fruit."
KingKhram@reddit
The pet tax rule isn't weird

Can't remember the subs involved, but once commented a relevant quip on an r/all post, & immediately received a ban message from another sub I'd never knowingly visited!
Felt bizarre that simply commenting in one sub will result in a ban on another.
Billy_Rizzle@reddit
Pet tax is valid
Voodoopulse@reddit
In the teachinguk subreddit I made a post that I realised I'd made a mistake in the title so I deleted it, I got banned for deleting a post that people were active in.
Neither_Process_7847@reddit
No mentioning goblins when discussing AI.
Sea-Still5427@reddit
I was banned once for making a negative comment about MY OWN menopausal weight problem. Not a rule, just an easily triggered mod who decided I was male and a misogynist. It was a previous user name as I took a break from Reddit after.
Also banned from suicide watch sub for (I think) words to the effect that it doesn't necessarily mean the person's mentally ill. God forbid we keep an open mind.
Mongoose-Relevant@reddit
Got banned from the Nirvana sub for calling people out for odd fandom.
Like posts like these would make him kill himself again right? Kinda stuff
