Hello! I was wanting recommendations for queer friendly things and groups in Plano. As well as things in Plano related to visual arts, quirky aesthetics, etc. Thank y'all!

The Plano quilt show (August 14 & 15) is wonderful and queer friendly! Several professional quilts but also smaller art quilts and quilting adjacent things

if you like to rock climb, movement has Queer Climb on the first tuesday of the month in plano, and the second tuesday in richardson.

Plano library has queer books you can borrow. In McKinney there’s a place called Habitat coffee that is very queer friendly. There’s a bookstore in downtown Plano that is queer friendly too.

Dallas Junk Journal Club (@dfwjunkjournalclub on IG) hosts lots of craft events in DFW. Very cute and artsy, not so much queer though.
