Looking for a reliable convertible, does anyone know any?

I owned one so I know it’s basically a Corolla parts bin, even the engine, all Corolla stuff.  so it’s pretty easy to work on and replace parts. I had the alternator done for $400 for example.  My only suggestion is to find a 2003+ as that one got the “fixed” engine and is a worthwhile refresh. Also, avoid the “SMT” which is the manu-matic transmission option. It’s difficult to work on and keep running reliably, so yeah, get the manual transmission. And be careful because some SMTs are listed as “manual” but you can tell by the shifter, it looks kinda like an automatic  Anyway, They’re on the rare side,(a few thousand sold per year)  so you might have to expand your search area quite a bit to find one, but they’re great reliable cars and a lot of fun.
