Which are your favourite Balkan Eurovision songs this year?

Clips from the semi final live performances in case you haven’t seen them yet.

Almost all the Balkan entries are expected to do *very* well in the grand final this evening, aside from Montenegro who failed to qualify for the final.

So, what do you think of them, and which ones do you like the most (aside from your own country’s)?

I agree. After Adio in 2015 this was the best entry from Montenegro. I guess song was not gay enough to pass. Sadly You either have to be from ukraine or have gay performance to pass and eventually win the contest.

I think it’s more likely that Israel gave a high score in both the jury and the televote to Belgium (the girl singing for Belgium was on the Belgian jury in 2024 and gave high points to Israel) and that’s what pushed Tamara out of top 9.

And there were only 9 spots available instead of 10 because Israel is like an automatic qualifier these days, they could send a mute and still qualify.

The most meaningful: Albania The "hit quality": Bulgaria The "huh?": Serbia (not a bad song, not for Eurovision)

Everything else is mediocre.

Special "love" for Ferto, its bad. Really bad. But its good for that content. So Akylas will finish 4th and for some days greek sites and media will break our balls about him

Artists from small countries that needed to work day jobs before they did Eurovision are able to live off their music now. Even ones that didn’t come close to winning (like Rosa Lynn from Armenia - she came like 22nd or something with a song that became a global multi platinum hit and now she’s a full time singer songwriter).

For all the nonsense surrounding it, Eurovision really is a way for musicians who weren’t lucky enough to be born in a country with a massive music industry to make it.

Why should only Americans, Brits, and Swedes get opportunities to break through internationally?

Or only people who can afford to move to those countries and network in the music industry instead of needing to work a shitty job?
