Wow! Looks like a person I worked with almost 40 years ago, Dressed the same, hairline the same, posture the same, always wanted you to address him as Dr. so and so (PhD Psychology working in a Telco). But actually, a very nice guy. We didn't have Apples though, VT220 terminals instead.

At least you have income for now and haven’t been replaced, or laid off due to record profits. Work life balance is super important but otherwise it’s the small wins.
