The semiauto parts builds are fun, by which I mean they will occasionally double fire for some reason!

Do I just need a parts kit and a new receiver to build a complete semi-auto? What about the trigger/sear?

Either a company manufactures a new receiver or you make a new receiver yourself. In both cases it has to be different enough from a full auto that it cannot be easily converted.
With many builds from parts kits it's common to make sure that certain components are just too big or a slightly different shape so that they don't accept full auto parts.

You can buy new made receivers that use AR fire control groups and even let you use super safeties for the next best thing to full auto. Pretty fun. I believe Titus Arms sells the lowers or you can get a printer and make your own.

Highly unlikely, but there may be one or two floating around. If there are I’m amazed they aren’t more publicly known, the handful of transferable Beretta 93Rs are like $120k apiece and I’d imagine a transferable Skorpion would be similarly priced given their fame. You’d think someone would be bragging about it somewhere if they owned one

I havent seen one come up for sale in the last 20yrs. But you never know

Supposedly there are a few on the registry. Some of the people in the know over on the NFA sub have said they come up now and then for sale, but are not widely advertised publicly. They tend to be traded privately between people and it is one of those things if you got to ask for the price, you probably can not afford it. Transferable machine pistols tend to go over 100k at a minimum.

Ouch!

Yes, in Switzerland, brand new for about 1500 dollars!

If there are, I imagine they would amount to a single digit amount. Cold-War Combloc transferables aren't exactly common
