How do survey pilots pee

Lets say you are flying right seat Navajo and the flights are 6-7 hours long. Obviously you need to pee at some point. What do you do? I never was able to pee while sitting and also would be impossible to do it with a guy sitting next to you so wtf do you do?

Flying suburban 🤣🤣🤣

Never done survey but done some long flights. Gatorade bottles, move the seat back, slightly stand up in the seat, tell the other guy to look for traffic out the other window for a minute, try not to get any on your pants, pray there's no sudden turbulence, moist towelettes to clean up, don't grab the wrong Gatorade bottle when you go for a drink.

Sounds like I need to bring some yellow gatorade and play my own form of russian roulette every time I grab a bottle to take a sip

And to save you some reading, OP, all versions of the only legitimate answers here are going to be either a slightly more or slightly less elaborate version of Piss Jug.
Mods you can lock the thread.

Dual pilot in a Navajo? Â
"Your controls. I need to step into the back for a minute."
They make special containers for such events, but I one gallon ziploc about 1/3 full of cat litter works well too.

Can you even step back? Never seen a navajo before. Also I heard there is some equipment in the back. As far as I understand, if you can go to back, do it, if not then tell the guy to look outside for a sec?
x4457@reddit
Yes. How do you think you get in?
There's room. You'll be fine.
cptalpdeniz@reddit (OP)
I thought it was through the side

A handful of Navajos have crew doors, but most do not.
I assume this is a job you applied to or have been hired for. Genuine question - did you not bother to google what the airplane or cabin looks like?
cptalpdeniz@reddit (OP)
they have different configurations
x4457@reddit
I'm well aware, I fly and manage a Navajo.
cptalpdeniz@reddit (OP)
No I meant as in within the company, I sent an example pic
x4457@reddit
I'm well aware of what survey Navajos can look like inside too. There are a lot of them around, and I looked at damn-near every interior configuration in the fleet before I bought one for this client.

Okay. Thanks for the information then

can you check dm

Unless this particular airplane has a special conversion I've never seen, you enter a Navajo through a cabin door behind the wings and walk forward like a C421 or small King Air.
Even if there's equipment in the back there would be a walkway big enough for me to kneel down and pee in a containerÂ

Gatorade bottles work great for #1 and threaded for #2

>threaded for #2
lmao

Wide mouth Gatorade bottles? Never flew a survey plane with 6-7 hour legs.
GodOfNoobs6@reddit
A few bottle of gatorade usually does the trick. Usually easier during summer tho.
The snake tends to shrink more than usual during winter @ 9k FT flying lines.

Tell them to look out the window
