Is a rtx5050 good for a ryzen 7 5700g???

Hi, I'm a beginner at building PCs and I have a big question about GPUs.I have a Ryzen 7 5700G and I want to upgrade by buying a GPU. I was wondering if an RTX 5050 would work well with my CPU, or if it would give very poor performance. I just don't want to waste money.

It's fine if it's what you can afford. If you look at YouTube videos you can see the performance of a RTX5050. No modern GPU purposely give you poor performance.

Yes, I've watched several videos, thank you, although sometimes I feel they can be quite far removed from reality.Sorry for my English, I'm using a translator because I'm not a native English speaker.

The 5050 (and 5060, 5060ti 8/16gb) is limited to PCIe x8 gen5 which makes it less ideal for systems limited to gene speeds like with a 5700g.
You will lose performance because of it being bandwidth starved from its own PCIe x8 limitation since it is forced to operate in gen 3 mode.
If you want to avoid that problem you should look for a GPU with the full 16 lanes (not just the connector size but actually having 16 lanes in the chip.)
This video uses a 5060ti but I believe the result will be about the same.

The 9060 it 8/16gb dose have the full 16lanes so that could be an option if it's in the budget.
But I would also recommend getting a different CPU as the "g" models like 5700g and 5700, 5500(being "g" models with the og disabled. Which are different from the 5600 and 5800 Since they are using the better design that doesn't have an igpu and performs much closer to that X and XT counterparts) is noticeably slower than the X and XT

Thank you so much, I didn't know there were videos comparing PCIe cards. I was also planning to upgrade my CPU to a better one in the future. Thanks!
